Robert Half Senior Financial Analyst in Worcester, Massachusetts

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. This role will primarily focus on utilizing NetSuite and advanced Excel skills to extract and analyze financial data, providing key insights to support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and financial modeling, to support business decision-making.

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and support budgeting processes.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management, providing insights into financial performance and trends.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights for financial analysis.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for executive leadership and board meetings.

  • Continuously monitor and evaluate financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.

  • Provide support during the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial projections.

  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or related roles.

  • Strong proficiency in NetSuite and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, etc.).

  • Proven ability to perform complex financial analysis and modeling.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
