State of Massachusetts Human Resource Director in Worcester, Massachusetts

Overall Responsibilities: *The Human Resources Manager works as part of a team among the finance staff of the Middle District Attorney’s Office and plans, directs, develops, and coordinates the District Attorney’s Human Resource policies and activities, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of his mission and talent strategy. *Duties and responsibilities include the following: · Assess staffing needs and oversee employee hiring. · Manage employee relations and personal support for employees. · Oversee and manage employee benefits, including Group Insurance Commission enrollment, FMLA/PLML, SMART Plan, etc. · Manage workers’ compensation claims. · Design and implement training programs. · Coordinate employee accommodation requests. · Maintain Human Resource systems. · Ensure compliance with regulations. · Additional duties as assigned. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Three to five years’ full-time experience in Human Resources desirable, preferably within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
