Emprise Bank Appraisal Specialist I in Wichita, Kansas

We are currently seeking an Appraisal Specialist to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role is responsible for Appraisal Processing, Treasury Management Support, Loan Research, Daily Notices, and Process Administration.

Essential functions of the role:

  • Monitor the appraisal request queues, prioritize daily processing

  • Apply current regulations and guidelines to order, track, and review appraisals; ensure appropriate appraisal is ordered

  • Perform Uniform Standard of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) reviews

  • Communicate with loan officers, associates, and appraisers when issues arise

  • Monitor Reconsideration of Value (ROV) and appraisal complaint/bias process from customers and associates

  • Review the treasury management resolution and additional entity queue; read operating agreements to determine signers

  • Process business loan applications, order title work, verify lien perfection, ownership, create workflows, verify entity documentation and Certification of Beneficial Ownership

  • Monitor and work exception reports to ensure collateral is perfected after loans are closed

  • Generate and mail loan notices per regulation

  • Document standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in processes

  • Collaborate across departments to seek process improvements

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Bank experience preferred

  • Proficiency with large server-based applications and typical desktop software
