Responsibilities and Expectations
- Provide support for technical issues and initiatives related to integrated applications and systems, via ticketing system and phone queue.
- Coordinate issue and support resolutions with users, vendors, and/or internal service groups.\ Subject matter expert for, and provide administration, management, and support of information systems applications, including continual education and practical learning.
- Perform periodic updates and installation for information systems.
- Support integrity of information systems via backups, verifications, BCP and DR testing; use diagnostic tools to measure, maintain, and troubleshoot applications, data systems, and services; insure optimal uptime of in-house information systems.
- Update and write documentation and procedures and provide related training.
- Administration and management of department intranet pages and documents.
- Troubleshoot tier 2 issues and coordinate resolution with users and internal service groups
- Monitoring and resolution of issues sent via department help desk and CRM; reassignment of tier 2 issues to additional Information Systems staff for resolution.
- Responsible for the technical administration of all desktop, laptop, and printing resources, including but not limited to setup, configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, maintenance, and repair.
- Recommends procurement of new hardware and software to Manager.\ Identify opportunities for potential changes to environment based on user feedback and report to supervisor.
- Monitors changes in business needs, making recommendations for changes as appropriate.
- Assist with application-level user provisioning for new hires, personnel changes, and terminations, as needed.
- Assist with completion of daily tasks including monitoring and logging, as needed.
- Following established departmental procedures and checklists, as well as bank policies.
- Utilization of system analytics and automation within the department.
- Completion of development project support work as assigned, including merger data conversion support.
- Assess change requests for risk to production systems, and assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported systems and areas.
- Follow established Information Systems policies and procedures.
- Follow established internal control policies.
- Follow established compliance policies, responsibilities including but not limited to Equity Bank.
- Business Ethic and Conduct policy, Bank Secrecy Act, Information Security, and Suspicious Activity reporting requirements.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or department head.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years IT Support experience
- Telephone skills and etiquette
- Effective troubleshooting instincts and skills
- Previous banking experience strongly recommended
- Working knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Effective communication, time management, and organization skills
