Overview
Our Benefits and Compensation Team is offering a paid Summer Internship at our Whippany, NJ campus, providing real-world experience in the Benefits and Compensation area within Human Resources. This seasonal, full-time compensated position is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical insights into the operations of an HR department within a thriving pharmaceutical services provider organization. The internship is set to start right after the spring semester ends in May and continue until early August. This position is a stepping stone towards your future career, requiring your active participation and collaboration with peers and other HR team members.
Responsibilities
Organize Compensation Shared Drive Folders
Assist Compensation Analyst with Market Data Requests, Market Pricing Analysis, Job Title clean-up, Anniversary List
Assist with the Annual Compensation Cycle Prep
Mail letters to employees going out on continuous or intermittent leave using standard templates
Initial request
During leave
Returning from leave
Letters related to ADA approval and denial
Assist with reviewing & responding to inquiries regarding leave eligibility based on requests from third-party administrators.
Assist with data requests for various audits for 401K and benefit enrollments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Human Resources courses or related disciplines are desirable
Experience with Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
Active College Student sophomore year of college and above. A focus on business, communications, psychology, or similar. Human Resources courses are desired
Some work experience in a customer-facing role or prior office/professional internship experience is a plus.
Detail-oriented, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and collaboration
