This position is responsible for operating machinery, heavy lifting and maintaining production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.


The team member is responsible for various tasks. The following breaks the job down to include more detail loading trucks by taking boxes off of an Expando (conveyor belt that moves) and stacking them into the trailer, stamping boxes, aligning box with label reader, taking boxes off of conveyor and placing them on pallets on the rail system, taking the boxes from the previous day and placing them on conveyor going to the trucks, pushing the palletized boxes down the rails to be thrown on a conveyor, and restocking pallets. The temperature of the work area could be as low as 35 degrees. During a day, a team member must be willing to stack approximately 3000 boxes. Responsible for picking up boxes or pallets that are below waist level. The weights of the boxes vary from 10 lbs. to 80 lbs. Tasks include lifting when stamping the boxes and moving pallets. Pallets in the rack system weigh up to 80 lbs. This job also include tasks such as pushing and pulling to maneuver a box and to move pallets. The team member must stand the entire duration of the shift. Must be able to work assigned shifts and weekends Must be able to read and understand manuals, execute work assignments and document work complete. Must be willing and able to work
