Job Description:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for managing the various aspects of receiving at the facility. This position must have knowledge of the following: warehousing and receiving product; performing product and ingredient recalls; managing finished inventories and addressing any variances; reviewing all hold product and disposition accordingly; managing the loading/unloading of trucks; communicating with carriers when necessary; completing work orders and monitoring their progress. Other duties include: holding safety meetings; providing forklift training; overseeing the new hire training program for warehouse; ensuring the proper administration of personnel policies and regulations; performing other responsibilities as the need arises.


Education: An education beyond high school which normally includes a Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: 3+ years experience.

Computer Skills: Must be able to develop Excel/Access spread sheets, enter data into document templates, and create simple queries. Knowledge of EIM system preferred.

Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.

Supervisory Skills: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.

Travel: Travel 1-2 trips per year
