Rig tow lines, lay and affix rigging, sweep decks, stand lookout watches, load and unload materials from the docks, maintain decks and superstructure of the motor vessel using chipper or scraper, check barges and barge void tanks leaks, lubricate and monitor machinary and equipment, examine cables that hold barges and motor vessel in tow requires using a ratchet to tighten cables to ensure barges and vessel are snug.
