St. Mary's Catholic School is looking for a 3rd grade classroom teacher and 4th grade classroom teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

St. Mary's Catholic School is a small, family-centered, faith-based school system located in a beautiful lakeside community (Storm Lake, IA). Class size is generally 25 students at most. Our school system emphasizes high-quality academics, strong classroom structure, and faith-based opportunities for student growth starting at an early age. We also pride ourselves in a family-like atmosphere for students, staff, and parents alike. Small class sizes allow for personalized learning and connections among students, staff, and family.

Because we are a PK-12 school system all on one campus, we have many great opportunities for students of all ages to engage and interact together, which really helps build a family atmosphere. We do service projects together, holiday activities, team-building opportunities, school Mass buddies, etc. We have an over one-hundred year legacy in our community and are the only Catholic school in the county. St. Mary's is also a school on the Teacher Cancellation Low Income Directory.

Applicants must hold an active teaching license within the state of Iowa. Applicants must also pass a background check and complete a diocesan Virtus Safe Environment training (done online) prior to hiring.
