Field Automation Engineer needed for a large multi-national company with clients throughout the US. In this role you will be responsible for supporting installation, start up and repair of complex, automated equipment at various sites. This is a remote position needing you to be based within or around the state of Kansas and will require travel up to 80%. responsibilities:

• PLC programming ladder and structured text of main PLCs - Rockwell, Siemens and B&R.

• VFD's programming, network managed switches, etc.

• Upstream and downstream interlocks set-up to third party equipment

• Integration of automation peripherals: labelers, checkweighers, barcode readers, vision cameras,

• Electrical schematics interpretation and supervision of electrical tasks

• Supervision and coordination of contractors reporting to PM

• Reporting timelines & project updates tp PM

• Working on customer start-up projects

• Documentation of equipment and Projects

• Training to final operators and supervisors about the equipment.

• Service existing equipment within the field - identify errors/failures to determine

the root cause and preventative actions
