Description We are in the search for an Accounting Manager to join our team in South Hadley, Massachusetts. The role focuses on overseeing day-to-day accounting deliverables in a dynamic work environment. This position offers an opportunity to work on a contract basis and contribute to the financial efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations

• Prepare and review journal entries ensuring accuracy and compliance

• Carry out account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions

• Conduct financial analysis as needed to identify and resolve discrepancies

• Manage the month-end close process in a timely and efficient manner

• Utilize Workday ERP system for various financial operations

• Collaborate with other team members to improve financial procedures

• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met

• Assist with other ad hoc financial analysis as required

• Maintain and update accounting records and files as needed. Requirements • Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred

• Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on accounting or finance

• Proven track record in managing journal entries and account reconciliation

• Demonstrable expertise in financial reporting and financial analysis

• Experience in month-end close procedures is essential

• Proficiency in using Workday ERP system or similar software is required

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
