Website Manager What does a Website Manager do? You are responsible for managing our customer facing websites. You must have an analytical mindset and a detailed understanding of Search Engine Optimization ( SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) of marketing landing pages on websites . Website managers are expected to have meticulous attention to detail, outstanding problem-solving skills, and fantastic project management skills. To ensure success, a website manager must display an excellent understanding of content management systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manger and technology infrastructures using CSS, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. You must be comfortable troubleshooting websites, organizing and executing site updates, and constantly improving the User Experience (UX) on site. Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organization's website.

  • Manage website updates, architecture, and content edits/add/deletes in support of business, marketing and product initiatives.

  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues.

  • Identify and respond to all website security breaches.

  • Ensure that the website is protected by collaborating with IT to enable the appropriate security measures.

  • Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.

  • Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.

  • Create appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.

  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plan and testing/QA of all new pages before go-live to check for quality and responsiveness across devices.

  • Improve the User Experience (UX) of the website regularly.

  • Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organization’s standards.

  • Create strategies to grow subscriber base, web traffic metrics and conversion rate across key marketing landing pages.

  • Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.

  • Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites.


  • BS/MS degree in marketing, computer science, or related qualification.

  • 3 years of work experience as a website manager.

  • Expert knowledge of Macromedia suite, Adobe suite, Content Management Systems (AEM preferred), and W3C Web standards.

  • Proficient in JIRA or a similar project tracking software for managing web updates

  • Highly proficient in HTML5, XHTML, CSS3 design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript.

  • Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) of landing pages

  • Knowledge of Adobe range of products including XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver

  • Ability to troubleshoot website issues in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent content creation and writing skills.

  • Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to discuss and explain design options

  • Ability to wireframe

  • Detail oriented
