As a Senior Accountant in their Family Office division, you'll play a crucial role in supporting high net-worth families and individuals by alleviating the administrative burdens associated with managing their wealth. Reporting directly to the Director of Family Office, you'll have the opportunity to engage in high-touch client interactions and provide comprehensive financial services, including bill pay, account reconciliations, private investment tracking, and document management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-touch client interaction, promptly responding to requests and inquiries with exemplary service.

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank and brokerage accounts with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Monitor daily and weekly cash positions across various accounts, ensuring optimal funding levels.

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues or discrepancies with clients' accounts, bill pay, or invoices.

  • Foster relationships with external professionals and advisors to enhance client service and support.

  • Assist in gathering data for tax return preparation and provide necessary documentation to CPAs.

  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial information to facilitate decision-making processes.

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new clients by gathering necessary documentation and updating relevant systems.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA certification is advantageous.

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping roles.

  • Familiarity with entity structure, ownership, and organizational frameworks.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to present data in precise formats following prescribed standards.

  • Proven initiative to identify and recommend improvements to processes and procedures.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.

  • Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities to manage competing priorities effectively.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous self-development through intellectual curiosity and personal learning initiatives.

  • Adherence to the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
