Directs, manages and provides guidance in driving positive change in the facility through the lens of lean manufacturing, including development and upskilling other managers and team members. Develops plans and actions to ensure goals are being achieved or exceeded toward lowering overall plant costs within our Manufacturing locations. Serving as a member of the Plant Leadership Team. Building capability of the site leaders. Ensuring CI tools and methodologies are used to drive all site result opportunities. Leading the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) process. Be familiar with Simmons established operating systems (e.g. quality, security, office environment, company policies, LEAN) The occupation will require national travel only that its on average 2 weeks out of the month, 50%.

Must have a bachelors degree in Engineering. Employer will accept US or foreign 3 or 4 years degree. Must have 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, continuous improvement or engineering discipline.
