Position Responsibilities

• Operate various Multi Axis CNC machines in automatic mode.
• Learn to trouble shoot basic machine and tooling issues.
• Must be able to accurately load and unload parts to and from fixtures
• Comply with Quality and Safety measures and standards established by PROENERGY
• Learn to recognize dull cutters, proper coolant flow, and machine issues that can lead to non-conforming parts
• Communicate discrepancies and non-conformances to immediate lead
• Utilize measuring equipment in support of quality requirements
• Record and input in-process measurement data
• Review and interpret general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new assignments; ask clarifying questions when in doubt.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma and two-year technical trade degree or completion of a machinist apprenticeship program. On Job Training (OJT) is acceptable as well, with the applicant able to discuss / demonstrate what skills he / she has acquired..
• Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must have valid drivers license.
• Coexist and function in a team environment
• US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

Desired Qualifications

• 3 years in a CNC manufacturing environment
• CNC operation of 5 Axis Vertical Mill (Trunnion Style Table)
• CNC operation of 5 Axis Vertical Mill Turn
• CNC operation of Multi Axis Profile Grinders
• CNC operation of Multi Axis Water Jet
• CNC operation of Multi Axis Wire EDM
