As the General Manager (GM) in this rapidly growing business in Brazil, you will build and lead a top performing team that will grow and scale the Amazon Ads business in Brazil into becoming the leading publisher in the region. The GM will achieve this by growing and developing top Advertiser accounts in Brazil, by partnering closely with Agencies, and by scaling our sponsored ads business through partnerships and programs.
The General Manager has full P&L ownership of the Amazon Ads business in Brazil, with direct leadership over Sales and Agency teams, and supported by partner teams such as Finance, Analytics & Insights, Account Management, Creative Services, PR, Marketing, and Human Resources.
Internally, this role will partner closely across a multiple Amazon teams, including Amazon.com.br, Prime Video, Alexa, AWS, and more.
Key job responsibilities
Lead the high-performance Amazon Ads team in Brazil (Sales and Agency teams) as well as the business rhythm and cadence (pipeline management, etc.)
Influence product/tech teams by advocating internally for Brazil-specific tech needs that may differ from central/global roadmaps, through understanding and representation of customer and industry trends/needs
Represent Amazon Ads in BR advertising and media industry events and institutions (e.g., IAB), both as speaker as well as an active ambassador of Amazon Ads with key industry leaders/publications
Represent Amazon Ads Brazil in internal Amazon meetings/forums/events
Develop strong relationships with C-level executives across advertisers and Big6 Agencies in BR
Grow our Display and Video/STV ads business by developing top advertiser accounts.
Grow Sponsored Ads penetration by strengthening both relationships and mechanisms across key internal stakeholders and teams
Liaise with internal stakeholder teams (Finance, GTM, etc.) to design/implement business goals and incentive structures
Lead a high performance, input driven and multi-functional team
Attract, hire and retain top sales and digital media talent
Provide strong mentoring and coaching to direct reports
Determine short and long-range business plan and translate this into action plans

Basic Qualifications
12+ years of B2B sales experience
Experience managing teams
Experience hiring and retaining sales talent
Experience building new customer relationships
Preferred Qualifications
