Job Title: Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)

Location: Rock Hill, NC

Shifts Available: Third Shift and Second Shift

Salary: $30 - $34 per hour (depending on experience)

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and troubleshooting on our mechanical material handling equipment. This includes transportation conveyors, sortation systems, and forklifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical control systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and the ability to read blueprints or schematics.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on mechanical material handling equipment.

• Conduct emergency mechanical repairs to failed material handling systems.

• Troubleshoot electrical control systems, including motors and PLC output.

• Install/setup VFDs and servo motor controls.

• Perform maintenance projects on conveyor systems, including installation, removal, and process improvement changes.

• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Identify and locate required repair parts for failed systems.

• Maintain accurate record keeping, including work orders, time sheets, and parts requests.

Qualifications and Special Skills Required:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics.

• Knowledge of electrical motor control, with strong electrical/mechanical skills working with 30 – 480V.

• 5 – 8 years of progressive mechanical aptitude in a distribution or manufacturing environment.

• Expertise in welding, soldering, and cutting torch skills.

• Experience utilizing various machines/equipment, such as hand tools, drills, grinders, saws, multimeter, tachometer, welder, solderer, cutting torch, hydraulic gear puller, electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and platform lifts.

• Willingness to work overtime and flexible shifts, including weekends.

• Ability to work independently and safely, with limited supervision.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to complete work orders on time.

• Commitment to working safely and maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Physical Requirements/ADA:

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment on a concrete floor.

• Continuous standing, walking, hearing, pushing, and pulling required.

• Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, talking, and handling objects with hands.

• Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically.

• Full-time, in-office presence required for team interaction, meetings, and collaboration.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $34.00 per hour
