Labcorp Senior Finance Analyst in Raleigh, North Carolina
Labcorp is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our Revenue Cycle Management Team.
Essential job duties:
Collect, compile, prepare, and analyze data from multiple systems, to process revenue entries, journal entries, and other financial transactions
Ensure that your group of projects are reconciled accurately and completely
Ensure the compliance in meeting Sarbanes-Oxley controls and requirements
Perform financial and analysis and research
Adapt to constantly changing requirements and business needs; quickly implementing solutions when necessary
Perform month end close processes and journal entries in accordance with the Corporate close calendar
Ensure significant variances from monthly trend are investigated and explained.
Ensure continual review and improvement of processes to strengthen controls, improve productivity and reduce cost.
Support RCM process improvement initiatives
Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are prepared
Perform data entry assignments in support of contract set up in PeopleSoft financial system
Complete ad hoc projects and tasks as required
Minimum required:
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Knowledge of contract revenue and ASC 606
Strong general and project accounting experience
Strong networking, team working and relationship management skills
Strong business acumen; understands business implications of decisions
Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the capacity to identify issues and implement solutions proactively
Supports and explains reasoning for decisions/recommendations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint
High degree of comfort navigating and reconciling large data sets across multiple sources
Experience with Salesforce
Proven ability to work independently
Experience in a matrixed, multi-site, multinational environment
Experience with PeopleSoft / Oracle Fusion
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
Education/Qualifications/Certifications and Licenses:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Related Field, CPA desired but not required
