Copeland IT Environmental Health and Safety Application Analyst in Quezon City, Philippines

By joining us as an IT EHS Application Analyst , you will administer and monitor the environment, safety & health compliance system; VelocityEHS. You will perform multiple operational and project tasks such as annual upgrades, application testing, application configuration, application training and provides post-implementation support.

In this capacity, you will interact with Global EHS leaders and users on a daily basis.

As an IT EHS Application Analyst, you will:

  • Serve as a technical resource providing expertise and guidance to the EHS leaders and global user community on the VelocityEHS Enterprise compliance tool.

  • Provide first and second level application support for the business users.

  • Resolve problem and incident tickets based per SLA (Service Level Agreement) criteria; manage and maintain the VelocityEHS environment.

  • Perform troubleshooting, investigation and resolution of issues affecting performance of the application.

  • Ensures issues are resolved and / or escalated on a timely manner.

  • Support vendor and system relationships with the VelocityEHS Customer Care Team.

  • Perform periodic maintenance activities for the applications (e.g. user ids, password changes, disaster recovery testing, change management, server patching, etc.)

  • Participate in continuous process improvement, implements changes under documented revision control.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environment, Health and Safety or a related field (required).

  • BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area (optional).

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in EHS tracking tools, business analysis, and/or administration and setup.

  • Application support and software system support is a plus.

  • Requirements gathering and configuration changes to promote user experience and system enhancements.

  • Experience with direct customer interaction, and guidance on system use; best practice methods.

  • Written and verbal proficiency in English.
