What You'll Do:

  • Daily Management Rhythm (DMR) Compliance: Review process, training to plant leadership on DMR elements and lean tools.

  • Feedback to Ops Mgr. on the plant compliance to DMR.

  • Helping Associates understand “why behind what.”

  • Deployment of Factory of Tomorrow (FoT)

  • Iteration: Support for FoT pilots. Provide pilot feedback. Deployment in respective/resident plant.

  • Track effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPI’s).

  • Driving Actions and Effectiveness: Guide supervisors in 24hrs corrective actioning as needed.

  • Apply problem-solving tools (e.g. A3, Root Cause Analysis) to SQDCP performance metrics.

  • Driving Kaizens in the plant based on performance gap.

  • “Train the trainer” for SSB Kaizen approach.

  • Drive quality basics in the plant.

  • CTQ compliance, defects analysis, teardown process.

  • Customer defect tracking, analysis, and resolution to drive customer satisfaction.

  • Manages and maintains Superior Quality relations, reviews/manages/escalates Superior RCA/Corrective Actions, introduces new products at site.

  • Support Plant-specific/Corporate Function requests

What You'll Do Continued:

  • Conduct new product introduction pilots.

  • Collect data and provide feedback.

  • Attend boot camps, customer.

  • Create/update standard work (SW) as needed.

  • Train supervisors and leads on SW updates.

  • Communication: Follow weekly and monthly CL Mgr. report out process with BE and Ops leadership.

  • FoT updates. Plant Kaizen and A3 funnel.

  • Best practices sharing.

  • Continuous improvement and Kaizen related communication to the plant team.

  • Explain “why behind what.” KPI reference & sharing results.

  • Change management.

  • People Management: Manage, lead plant techs.

  • Provide coaching to plant techs on teardown process, CTQ’s, CI processes and pilots.

  • Conduct plant/supplier audits to drive process standardization, waste elimination, and continuous improvement.

  • Performance Metrics for CI Manager: Plant continuous improvement plan (A3s, Kaizens) to drive SQDCP goal.

  • Plant FoT deployment % progress.

  • Plant lean maturity score based on Ops lean assessment.

  • Plant-specific goals as needed & as defined by Ops Mgr

What You'll Bring:

  • Travel requirement: 15%-20% of time.

  • Must have at least a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.

  • Must have completed graduate level coursework in Lean & Quality Management, Industrial Management, and Advanced Strategic Quality Standards.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to where legally required, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
