Shift : Day shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Must be available to work other shifts as needed (swing shift: 4 p.m. to midnight; graveyard shift: midnight to 7:30 a.m.). Shift premium provided for hours worked on an off shift.
Pay Range : $39 – $44, depending on experience.
$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS!!
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT:
As a Maintenance LME, you will provide a high standard of equipment maintenance support for Oregon Tool’s Portland manufacturing plant. You will support the Maintenance, Production, Engineering, and Facility departments and maintain a safe working environment.
THE DETAILS:
Perform maintenance tasks with an emphasis on safety
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing and facilities equipment, both electrical and mechanical systems including, motors, drives, servo drives, Fanuc robots, and PLC’s
Complete project work in mechanical, electrical, and programming areas
Troubleshoot repair process equipment such as presses, grinders, furnaces, and assembly machines
Use and interpret schematics related to mechanical/electrical equipment.
Maintain state LME license
Maintain maintenance records
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Oregon State, “Limited Maintenance Electrician” (LME) electrical license or higher required
At least 4 years in industrial manufacturing maintenance, or vocational training and 3 years in manufacturing required
Basic machining skills; welding and lathe/mill operation experience required
Factory provided training classes in automated manufacturing equipment a plus (i.e. PLC’s, Robotics, Lasers, AC/DC Drives and/or CNC’s)
Solid skills in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and experience in maintenance management software (SAP a plus)
Ability to read blueprint schematics
Ability to operate hand tools, utilize test equipment, and operate high lift equipment or fork lift
A continuous improvement mindset for troubleshooting, gaining knowledge, and desire to learn and improve skills
Excellent interpersonal communication, organizational, problem solving, and customer service skills
You do not need to possess 100% of these qualities to be considered
