This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any general production type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to slicing, molding, packaging, sanitation, and supply chain. Other tasks includes standing, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, kneeling and reaching. Candidates must be willing and able to lift, push, carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on the area ranging up to 45 pounds.) Candidates must be willing and able to work in slippery, cold and or damp environments with temperatures ranging from 40 to 55 degrees, but may be much warmer in the mold washing area depending on the temperature outside. Candidates must wear steel toe boots at all times while on the production floor. Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends.

Applicants who voluntarily terminated from Tyson will not be considered for the following reasons, failed to report, walked off job, job abandonment, or no call no show for 3 consecutive days.
