JOB REQUIREMENTS: Official Title: Assistant/Associate Professor Business Title: Assistant/Associate Professor in Clinical Mental Health Counseling Employment Class: Faculty FTE: 1.0 Compensation: Competitive \$61,000-\$63,000 FLSA Status: Exempt Terms of Employment: This is a full-time, 9-month, tenure track position with an anticipated start date of August 26, 2024. The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh (UWO) Department of Counseling and Human Services invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. OUR PROGRAM Our program is comprised of two Master\'s-level, CACREP-accredited programs (School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling). We are proud of the fact that we are the oldest CACREP-accredited program in Wisconsin, having first earned accreditation in 1992. As a program, we believe strongly in the relationships that we cultivate and model for students. We emphasize developing counseling practitioners who are reflective, self-aware, creative, and adaptable. We intentionally develop classroom learning environments that are steeped in experiential learning, and that promote both personal and professional growth. We believe in modeling and teaching wellness, self-care, and social justice, and we focus on training insightful and skilled practitioners who will contribute meaningfully to the counseling profession for many years to come.
