Your Opportunity as the Analyst, Advertising and Regulatory Take on a critical role within our Corporate Regulatory team to ensure that all of our product labels and advertising materials adhere to legal and regulatory standards. Collaborate with internal creative teams on exciting marketing visions and new product packaging ideas and help them turn those blueprints into reality! Location: Orrville, OH Work Arrangements: hybrid, 30% in office expectation (Tuesday and every other Wednesday) In this role you will: Conduct routine reviews of all product labels, packaging and advertising material to ensure legal compliance. Leverage internal routing software to document reviews and verifications to ensure accurate data and record keeping. Maintain internal filing for label and advertising claims and confirming adequacy. Participate in the review and approval process for all new advertising and promotional material for our brands and/or total company. Advise on legal and regulatory processes and risks with cross functional teams like Marketing, Innovation, and Research & Development. Designate accurately all necessary intellectual property and license identification on labels and advertising materials. What we are looking for: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of experience with product label and advertising review and regulations, or equivalent Attention to detail and ability to implement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proven time management skills with the ability to prioritize andwork across multiple concurrent projects and priorities Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role: Experience with labeling specific to the food industry (human and/or pet) Four Year Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, Food Science, Compliance, Pre-Law, Business, or related field Learn more about working at Smucker: Follow us on #LI-KK1 #LI-Hybrid The J.
