Position Overview

The Software Quality Assurance Automation Analyst is a key member of the Performance and Automation Testing shared service team. This role is responsible for the development and automation of testing plans for web development/applications and ERP for Kiewit. This person works closely with the development engineers, Business Analysts and Product Owners to analyze business requirements, then design and test the related solutions.

Location

This position is located at 12720 I Street, Omaha, NE. Work schedule is onsite Monday - Thursday with flexible Friday's.

Responsibilities

The Software Quality Assurance Automation Analyst will:

•Create and design application and software testing plans

•Ensure products are entirely functional, reliable and defect free prior to delivery to our business customers

•Collaborate with the Product Owners, Business Analysts and Project Managers to understand user requirements and develop effective test strategies in accordance with project scope and timelines

•Collaborate with fellow software Automation Analysts to develop right-sized testing strategies new approaches for seeking out bugs and exploits in end-user-facing applications

•Actively participate in regular update and planning meetings or project ceremonies.

•Document and execute test cases and analyze results.

•Serve as Subject Matter Expert for test automation. Identify manual testcases that can be automated.

•Provide detailed reporting and an effective feedback loop on testing progress and defects to project teams and help troubleshoot issues.

Qualifications

•3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing

•2+ years of experienced developing and executing testing for SAP ECC, S4/Hana, OR Salesforce.

•2+ years of experience with any performance testing tools (ie: LoadRunner, JMeter)

•Experience automating test cases in Tosca or a similar test automation solution. (Selenium, Cypress, Gherkin, Cucumber) Experience with Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) highly desired.

•Experience documenting defects in Azure DevOps or a similar defect management solution.

•Proven technical acumen with experience working within traditional software development methodologies

•Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to present information both to technical and non-technical stakeholders

•Intermediate level knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies

•Proven ability to analyze and comprehend complex business processes and translate them into test cases.

•Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, work independently, and meet deadlines.

•BS in Information Technology, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or Technical Related Degree or comparable experience
