The Maintenance Manger will direct the functions of the maintenance team ensuring the efficient operation of the plant and equipment maintenance.

```Duties```

-Develops, schedules and controls a preventive maintenance program (PM) to maintain production machinery and equipment in proper working condition.

-Supervises and coordinates activities of employees engaged in the maintenance, electrical, and mechanical operations.

-Directs the operations and maintenance of steam generating boiler.

-Works closely with Engineering on all capital improvement projects from implementation to completion.

-Closely coordinates the maintenance department activities with the production departments to maintain the best overall plant performance and efficiency at the lowest cost.

-Inspects jobs in process and at completion to ensure that standards of workmanship and safety are maintained.

```Skills```

-An Associates Degree in engineering, operations or applicable technical knowledge or Degree/Certification from a trade school is desired.

-3+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience in industrial , maintenance or utilities operations is preferred.

-High Pressure Boiler Operator license is required, High Pressure Boiler Stationary Steam Engineer preferred (or willingness to obtain)

-Knowledge concerning fabrication, assembly and maintenance-shop practices and techniques.

-Ability to visualize and comprehend all aspects of manufacturing equipment or tooling problem and understanding the interrelationships of factors affecting a given situation with attention to detail.

-Excellent interpersonal skills able to work at all levels of the organization as well as outside vendors and regulatory agencies.

-Familiar with computer-controlled machine tools and high-volume automated production equipment.

-Working knowledge of computers.

This position requires a highly motivated individual who is able to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will have strong work ethic standards with a strong background in maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
