Tree Farm Laborer\ New Canada, ME FT/Days Temp-to-Hire Opportunity\ \ Job Description:\ \ Immediate full-time openings for Tree Farm Laborers in Fort Kent! Daytime schedule with room for flexibility. Previous agricultural/horticultural experience helpful, but not required. Production-based bonuses available! FT/Days; 7:00 AM 4:00 PM, Monday Friday; \$16.00/hr. + production bonuses.\ \ Tree Farm Laborers will help manage an active tree farm. Employees will inspect foliage, prune branches, mow lawns, and prepare grounds for planting and/or harvesting. Great fit for active individuals that like to work outside!\ \ Responsibilities:\

• Prune damaged or overgrown branches using pruning shears and/or loppers.
• Inspect trees for signs of damage, disease, and/or infestation and notify supervisors of any areas of concern.
• Mow lawns and remove weeds to prevent overgrowth.
• Operate tractors to transport materials and/or till land for planting.

\ Job Requirements:

• Ability to move and/or lift to 50 lbs. unassisted.
• Good communication skills: must be able to follow detailed instructions on how to properly care for trees and planting grounds.
