ManpowerGroup Inside Service Technician in New Berlin, Wisconsin

Our client, a leader in automation control systems, is seeking a Service Technician to join their team. As a Service Technician, you will be part of the Technical Service Department supporting our customer base. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work well under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Inside Service Technician

Location: New Berlin, WI

Pay Range: $32 - $37/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Receives incoming technical support calls and resolves issues promptly.

  • Carries the 24-hour phone and laptop for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support.

  • Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions.

  • Documents processes and produces timely and detailed service reports.

  • Builds positive relationships with customers and participates in customer training seminars.

What’s Needed?

  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in electronics technology.

  • Ability to respond to customer inquiries and complaints.

  • Familiarity with computer hardware and software applications (VB & SQL general knowledge).

  • Good working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, Wonderware HMI, Windows, and Networking.
