Delco Development Leasing Executive in Mount Laurel, New Jersey
Position Overview:
The Leasing Executive is responsible for leasing and maintaining positive resident relations of multi-family residential apartments.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Greet prospects and qualify for lease.
Responsible for inputting all records into data management software (prospect information, traffic reporting, etc.).
Inspect models and available market ready & furnished apartments; communicate related service needs to Property Manager/Maintenance Supervisor.
Demonstrate community & models/apartments and apply product knowledge to prospect’s needs by communicating the features and benefits; comply with Fair Housing requirements; close the sale to meet and exceed monthly goals.
Follow-up with all prospects & attempt to close.
Process applicant’s application through screening software; prepare lease documentation and complete move-in paperwork/procedures.
Follow-up with applicant throughout their move-in to ensure a seamless transition into their new home.
Ensure apartment is ready for resident prior to move-in date; report any issues to Property Manager & Maintenance Supervisor.
Provide orientation of community & apartment to new residents.
Assist residents throughout their residency to ensure customer satisfaction and increase lease renewals.
Complete/update monthly market study reports of competitive properties; complete weekly traffic reports.
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Participate in on-site & outside marketing events as required. Assist with event planning, along with setup and breakdown of events.
Put together marketing brochures and move-in packets.
Participate in outreach marketing to real estate agencies & local businesses.
Assist in placing and removing banners, bandit signs, flags, etc.
Assist with social media & online marketing.
Distribute newsletters & flyers.
Complete Administrative duties (accept rental payments; maintain resident files, distribute community issued notices; maintain accurate commission records; implement community policies/rules & regulations).
Maintain open communication with Property Manager & Maintenance Supervisor.
Contribute to cleanliness & curb appeal of the community on a daily basis.
Qualifications:
2 years sales experience in real estate, retail, hospitality or sales environments.
Undergraduate degree preferred
Proficiency in Google, Appfolio, Wordpress, Mailchimp and Canva preferred.
Prior training in Fair Housing regulations preferred.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Possess a positive attitude, good listening and problem-solving skills.
Must be extremely responsive, courteous, reliable, energetic and upbeat.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
Phone sales and leasing skills are required.
