Affordable Care Dental Pricing Operations Administrator in Morrisville, North Carolina

Overview

JOB PURPOSE:

The Pricing Operations Administratorwill be responsible for providing key assistance to the Marketing team’s initiatives and logistical support, primarily in the form of coordination and maintenance of codes and fees in the practice management software (Dentrix). The consistent execution of pricing ensures the accurate measurement of activity and performance on the back end of this process which is a key strategic focus for the organization. This role is responsible for the administration of ongoing and annual fee changes through the execution of fee process updates across the network and provides additional general support for the Marketing function.

Responsibilities

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Become the subject matter expert for ADA codes and fees, how they work and how they are applied

  • Provide direct support in the code and fee maintenance process at the practice level and coordinate with Dentrix Support staff, as required

  • Advise and recommend process improvements to the code and fee updates and manage adherence to accuracy and compliance with practices

  • Coordinate with graphics team and other cross-functional teams to both communicate fee updates and help drive process improvements

  • Support the Marketing Governance committee, as required, in the review of new ADA codes and facilitate a smooth and streamlined review process

  • Support the creation of fees as relates to new and existing packages (e.g. Implant Package, Implant Care Package, etc.) as required

  • Communicate and answer inquires related to codes and fees from practice staff, including Practice Owners, FDAs, Dental Assistants, etc.

  • Provide support to IT in the form of ad hoc assistance on the Dentrix Support hot line, as requested

  • Own the day-to-day responsibility for managing all tracking by practice of pricing specific roll outs or updates

  • Own the call tracking administrative process to create and assign new phone lines by working with internal Marketing stakeholders (Call Center, Digital, CRM) and call tracking vendor, upon request

  • Coordinate special marketing projects as relates to the logistics of new promotions, offers, pricing packages and strategies

Qualifications

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing, advertising, communications or related field or equivalent experience.

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience in project management or client services type role, preferably in marketing or advertising, with dental industry or Dentrix experience a plus.

  • Proven track record of large-scale project management and process improvement with a passion for continuous improvement.

  • Must be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, and exhibit excellent customer service skills.

  • Must be extremely process oriented and possess the ability to execute repetitive data entry in a consistent and accurate manner.

  • Must be a self-starter with an ability to work autonomously and a make-things happen business approach.

  • Ability to effectively respond to questions from groups of managers, Practice Owners, vendors and other employees.

  • Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, and as well as work well as part of a team.

  • Possess the ability to seek out practical problems to create opportunities for change.

  • Work well under pressure and have a proven track record of exceeding expectations and delivering against deadlines.
