Job Details:

This position will be responsible for general housekeeping, loading and unloading trucks, driving a company vehicle to pick-up parts, and supplies, pick-up drivers at farms as needed, assist in feed mill maintenance as necessary and other duties as assigned. Must be willing to lift and handle 50 – 55 lb. bagged ingredients as required. The handling of 2,000 lb. pallets with manual pallet jack and the use of a two-wheel dolly. Must be able to use a shovel as required to clear/clean spills. Must be able to bend, stoop and frequently climb vertical ladders 25 -50'. Must be able to perform other housekeeping tasks as required such as sweeping, mopping, and trash disposal. Must be able to record and maintain all required data as directed. Must follow all Tyson Foods policies to include Animal Welfare and Bio-Security guidelines. Must be willing to work in inclement conditions; hot, cold, dusty, and/or wet environment. Complete all other tasks assigned by management.

This position will work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm; Friday 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Must be willing to work flexible hours and swing shifts as required. Must be able to communicate with managers and Team Members both orally, verbally and in writing as required. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds. Must be able to climb ladders in excess of 50’. Must be able to operate a manual pallet jack and dolly. Must be able to obtain powered industrial truck certification (PIT). Must have a valid Mississippi driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last two years to exclude D.U.I. (Driving Under the Influence) conviction on his/her Motor Vehicle Record. Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a company license.
