Adecco US, Inc. Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift in Lunenburg, Massachusetts

Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Lunenberg, MA. We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Mechanic. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Pay Rate Range: $28 - $32/hour

Schedule(s)/Hours: 2ND Shift

Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot simple machinery for faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical malfunctions and repair/replace as required.

  • Make minor machine repairs when requested.

  • Fabricate simple fixtures, parts, tools and support equipment by utilizing machine shop equipment (i.e. lathe, milling machines, drill presses, saws, welder and had tools)

  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic system using schematics, maintain all support machinery (i.e. air compressors, cooling towers, etc.)

  • Manufacture specialized support machinery and parts from existing designs.

  • Perform simple electrical wiring on production, support building utilities (120V-480V) three phase and 120- volt single phase.

  • Plumbing and carpentry work as needed.

  • Preventative maintenance as needed.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role strongly preferred

  • Must have experience in a manufacturing industry

  • Strong Mechanical aptitude

  • Ability to follow written instructions

  • Ability to multitask and use hand power tools

  • Addition experience in Plumbing, Electrical, Electronics Controls, Welding, Carpentry, Hydraulics, and Machining are a plus

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.

  • Able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time

Pay Details: $26.00 to $28.00 per hour
