Copeland Senior Sales Engineer (Refrigeration and Air-conditioning systems) in LIMA, Peru

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for external customers in Peru. This includes sales and technical support, assisting OEMs, Installers, Consultants & Key End Users, while developing and sustaining long-term customer relationships and sales partnerships to ensure entire customer satisfaction.

  1. Work in conjunction with the Business Manager and Technical and Sales Team to grow sales with actual customers increasing participation with the complete product range, seeking out, targeting, and initiating contacts with prospective customers and End users (Agroindustry, Food Retail, Food Service markets)

  2. Request support and communicate effectively with other business units globally.

  3. Build a sales relationship with customers. Actively and proactively listen, probe, identify technical and sales concerns, and deliver solutions.

  4. Fully understand the customer’s business and “speak their language”.

  5. Develop credibility, loyalty, trust, commitment, and support.

  6. Recommend technology solutions, and link customer to their competitive advantages and benefits.

  7. Make certain the customer is well trained and deep oriented on products operation and value of services delivered.

  8. Keep the geographical team periodically and formally informed about sales activities, inform progress and status of meetings and tasks.

  9. Retention and winning new customers with sales growth and profitability.

  10. Improve Accuracy and Quality Information for Sales Forecast.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Refrigeration or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience is required.

  • 5 year's of related work experience

  • Intermediate English level

  • Deep understanding of Commercial Refrigeration and Air-conditioning systems, equipment, components, and related electronics.

  • Able to comfortably and easily use conventional computer equipment and software, including word processing & spreadsheet.

  • Able to discuss with customers on all aspects of Commercial Refrigeration and Air-conditioning technologie

  • Travel: Up to 50%
