Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accountant / Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles, with a strong understanding of financial principles and office management procedures. This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, managing office administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the office environment. The Accountant / Office Administrator will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and providing administrative support to various departments. Responsibilities: Financial Management:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, order entries, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and collections.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports and analysis for management review, including budget variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax filings.

Office Administration:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including managing product inventory, inventory management / supply chain, purchasing, order entry, supplies, etc
  • Maintain filing systems and organize company documents, both electronic and physical.
  • Assist in HR-related tasks, such as employee onboarding, payroll processing, and benefits administration.

Compliance and Regulation:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including management, staff, and external vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support company goals and initiatives.
  • Serve as a resource for financial and administrative inquiries and provide guidance to colleagues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting and office administration roles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements.
