We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Jacksonville, Florida. This role falls within the commercial real estate industry and involves a range of responsibilities related to real estate and construction accounting, cash flow reporting and forecasting, budgeting, process improvement, and team management.

Responsibilities:

• Manage property and construction accounting tasks diligently

• Utilize Yardi for various accounting processes

• Conduct cash flow reporting and forecasting to inform financial decisions

• Oversee budgeting processes to ensure financial efficiency

• Implement process improvements for better workflow and productivity

• Handle partnership, pass-through, and trust accounting tasks

• Ensure GAAP compliance in all accounting operations

• Generate accurate financial reports for management review

• Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance and support as needed

Requirements • Hold a minimum of three years of experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar

• Demonstrated proficiency in Property Accounting, Trust Accounting, and Construction Accounting

• Experience with Pass-Through Entities, Business Partnerships, and Yardi software is essential

• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, Cash Flow Analysis, and Cash Flow Forecasts

• Proficient in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate financial information clearly

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
