Description

This position is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the supply room and ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

This position provides goods to the production floor. The Inventory person issues ingredients to the line, provides empty boxes to the box makers, and helps maintain a clean box room. Must be able to drive forklift and obtain forklift license and operate pallet jack Able to operate a scan gun Perform receiving Purchase Orders in SAP in the computer Perform inventory data entry into SAP (EIM system) Perform daily housekeeping in the box room Must be able to communicate effectively orally, written, and have good penmanship. Must be able to count for inventory purposes. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (on a regular basis) Must follow rules, guidelines and perform all task functions instructed by management Must gather supplies from upstairs storage when needed for equipment room Will assist supervisor in all areas needed Willing to stand throughout an 8 to 9 hour shift Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk up and down stairs many times per day.
