DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will utilize AutoCad to produce comprehensive equipment drawings acquired by the Department of Transportation. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and revising AutoCad drawings to ensure compliance with fleet safety regulations.

This internship will allow you to develop your technical skills, apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects, and work alongside engineering professionals who are passionate about innovation and excellence.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. Occasional travel to various PennDOT and vendor locations is required, occurring during normal work hours. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. Enrolled part or full-time for the next semester by the start of the internship in an applicable major. Acceptable Majors: Drafting Mechanical Engineering In good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher). Must be at least 18 years of age Special Requirement: Certain positions require a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License. Additional Requirements: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Preferred Majors: Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
