Description:

The client is currently looking for a Program Manager to join their team on a 12+ month contract. The client has been in the process of modernizing several of their products including their TMS (transportation management system), TAM (transportation asset management system), and their real time tracking application (TUNE) for the last 2 years in an effort to improve their internal transportation and logistics offerings for their parent company (Koch Industries) and it's subsidiaries and also take these new products to market commercially. In recent weeks they have decided to hold off on the commercialization for the next 2 years and instead focus on building these products for internal use first and then take them commercial. This person will be needed as a consultant for at least the next 12 months and likely longer while they focus on the deliverables around TMS, TAM, and TUNE. The person in this role will be working very closely with their Director of Transformation who reports directly to the CIO for these efforts.

From a skills standpoint, this person should have experience leading projects in a technical setting and driving strategy and direction, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, and experience communicating and collaborating with stakeholders to define program requirements and deliverables. The client is very big on hiring people who are engaged and also willing to challenge ideas respectfully so that if there are better/alternative solutions they are aware of them.
