  • Hourly Pay Range: $27 - $29 per hour

  • EXPERIENCE: 6 years of experience in a detail-oriented work environment preferably either Billing, AP, or AR, 3 years of experience in managing multiple priorities, At least 2 years of customer service experience

Job Description:

The Senior Accounting Associate is responsible for the AR accounting functions within the Travel Business segment for Connexions Loyalty. This position requires interaction with some or all of the following: client, account management, internal fulfillment resources, supplier relations and vendors.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reconciling client confirmed travel redemption files against Connexion’s system of billing records.

  • Respond professionally and timely to internal customer pertaining to items or discrepancies

  • Responsible for creating accurate and timely detail billing files in Excel and final client invoices.

  • Monitor and research open receivables and support tickets in order to meet key performance metrics.

  • Prepare and generate the appropriate reports for internal and external individuals in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Maintain updated process documents

  • Ability to manage large data elements in an organized and timely manner.

  • Ability to navigate and multi-task between various systems and processes to more efficiently reconcile transactions.

  • Attend training classes for the launch of new programs and/or recurring training.

  • Responsible for answering team members’ day to day questions regarding proper procedures for preparation of billing, accurately updating Connexion’s systems and other questions related to travel accounting procedures

  • Responsible for reviewing defect log on a bi-weekly basis and providing guidance to team members on proper procedure.

  • Strong analytical thinker who can identify connections between various pieces of data and systems and quickly articulate client impac

  • Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize competing demands

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to function efficiently in a high volume, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment while maintaining service level agreements

  • Highly motivated self-starter

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills

    Requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate with a Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in FINANCE/ACCOUNTING (REQUIRED)

  • 6 YEARS of professional experience (REQUIRED)

  • 3 years of experience in a detail-oriented work environment preferably either Billing, AP or AR (REQUIRED)

  • 3 years of experience in managing multiple priorities

  • Possess strong PC skills manipulating large amount of data – Intermediate Excel skill is required.

  • Ability to interact with all levels staff, vendors, and external customers in a professional manner.

  • Ability to complete work with minimum supervision.

  • Ability to work/think/reason independently.

  • Possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and in a timely manner.

  • Exhibits enthusiasm and cooperation as an active member of a team environment.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills.

  • At least 2 year of customer service experience.

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills & strong mathematical skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines
