Poultry Distribution Center: QA Tech FLOATER

Normal Schedule:  Monday-Saturday 4:30p - 12 a with Saturday haveing a rotation schedule

POSITION SUMMARY:

To follow customer and company specifications to ensure a quality product is produced.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Perform physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems.

2. Document and calculate results of tests accurately.

3. Take corrective action when necessary and alert appropriate personnel to adjust process.

4. Identify, segregate and isolate non-conforming product and report results to management.

5. Properly inspect equipment and areas during preoperational sanitation to ensure equipment has been thoroughly cleaned and is ready for production.

6. Work with USDA regulated programs.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Correlation of daily line paperwork for products being ran.

2. Checking for GMP processes.

3. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have worked in plant processing for more than 6 months.

2. Must pass a QA qualification test.

3. Must be able to speak and write in English.

4. Must have some basic computer skills.

5. Must have basic math skills.
