Description

This position is responsible for ensuring all related equipment and area is performing to production standards while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Set up and break down lines as required. Operates all line head side equipment per SOP as defined in the Production Manual. Ensure product specifications are met in accordance with customer written specifications. Responsible for monitoring and reporting any wear and tear on equipment. Must have the ability to enter data into the Plant View system. Responsible for operating machinery, understanding specs of the product being ran, documenting both on paper and electronically machine setting, weights and other data as needed. Applicant must be able to assemble, disassemble and clean equipment when needed and communicate issues to lead and supervisor. Lifting of up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis. Must be able to move heavy objects (100 lbs.) with mechanical device. Must be able to use a calculator to figure yield efficiencies, scrap yield, and calculate SPC documentation (add, subtract, divide, and multiply). Must be able to read all Operator logs.

Requirements

Applicants must have 3 months of continual employment in the last 6 months.
