ASRC Federal Holding Company Staff Engineer in ENID, Oklahoma

ASRC Federal Field Services, Enid Oklahoma is seeking a Staff Engineer in support of our contract at Vance AFB Base, Enid, Oklahoma.

We are a small to mid-size, multi-discipline architectural/engineering firm specializing in commercial-type infrastructure and facility design for the United States Air Force, specifically at Vance Air Force Base. Our office is growing our services and currently has multiple openings, in a variety of architectural and engineering disciplines: Site Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering, Architectural Engineering or Architecture. We are seeking qualified applicants to join the current, experienced, design team to serve the needs of Vance Air Force Base.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with in-house professional staff (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and architect) and in-house construction personnel.

  • Performing and delivering technical reviews of data deliverables, including design and construction documents.

  • Gather and analyze project data and presenting information in various facets.

  • Graphic preparation and analysis using AutoCAD and Revit.

  • Providing cost and schedule analysis.

  • Assisting in planning, coordinating and facilitating project meetings and site visits.

  • Assisting with performing QC oversight of field and programmatic activities.

  • Office construction administration including review of shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and coordinate with construction management, through the construction phase of the project.

  • Attend and engage in meetings with clients, owners, contractors, etc. in a positive and productive manner.

  • Be a motivated self-started with good work ethic to complete job duties efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university by the hiring date in civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or architectural engineering from an accredited university is required.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, due to contract requirements

  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain a government issued common access card

Preferred Requirements:

  • 2 Years of experience is preferred, but on the job training is available for recently graduated applicants.

  • Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam is a preferred for applicants with an engineering degree.

  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe is preferred.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
