This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any materials handler type opening. Tasks include, but are not limited to, mobile equipment operation, lock out tag out operation, stacking, inspection, material checks, racking, rack pushing. The candidate will need basic computer skills to complete required training or tasks. Other tasks in these positions will be to stand, sit, bend, walk, stretch, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach. The Team Member must be willing and able to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-70 pounds. Candidate must be willing and able to work in the cold or heat (10 degrees below zero to 105 degrees) or damp environments and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. Candidate must be able to work overtime and weekends. Must be able to read and understand labels, recipes and instructions.
Applicants must show at least 6 months of work history with one employer within the last 24 months. If an applicant meets Tysons minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.
