Learn more: CWU Benefits & Leave. The Role: The Associate Director of Student Accounts reports to the Executive Director of Finance. This person will have a primary focus on compliance and assisting SFS & Accounting directors in day-to-day operations of the Student Accounts Office as it applies to the specific area. The Associate Director will be responsible for the supervision of all Student Accounts and Cashiers office customer service and personnel. This position will insure that office functions remain compliant with federal and state regulations and will monitor university accounts receivable (billings, collections, and refunds). It also will have a role in the training of some of the Operational positions such as FA2. All employees are expected to support CWUs commitment to diversity and to bring and support inclusion into the university environment. Job Duties Department Management: - Collaborates with Director of SFS in developing and implementing the operational plan including the development of work teams and allocation of resources for the customer service functions, university receivables collections, and account refunds. - Works with Director of SFS to implement new regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with institutional, state and federal policies and regulations including but not limited to PCI compliance and Identity Theft Protection program pursuant to FTC's Red Flag Rules. - Direct supervision of 9 Student Accounts Office staff and 2 to 4 student employees, including making recommendations for hiring, establishing performance
