Ceva Logistics/Randstad in Des Plaines is now HIRING, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our equipment fleet. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, deployment, and utilization of various types of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems. This role requires a keen eye for detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

Looking for 1st shift M-F 6am - 2:30pm/$18/hr

salary: $18 - $18.01 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

Skills/Qualifications: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. If required, must possess or be able to obtain the necessary equipment operation certification or licenses. Prior experience operating equipment and machinery in a transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing setting desired but not required.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 25lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
