0 Inventory & Demand Planner II Job Summary Reporting directly to the Planning Manager, the Inventory & Demand Planner is responsible for accessing customer systems to timely and accurate execution of all customer orders for Services business. An Inventory & Demand Planner must understand the specifics of products they represent as well as the business needs of their customer. The Inventory & Demand Planner acts as support staff for operations and must possess a comprehensive understanding of the PCNA Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to produce and analyze reports as needed. Additionally, the Inventory & Demand Planner collaborates with various departments such as Sales, Lab Services, Operations, Logistics, and Accounting. Requirements Excellent Organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills Flexible and able to change direction as needed or requested Enterprises Resource Planning (ERI) data entry or system experience Efficient with computer skilsl and Microsoft Office products Able to meet deadlines B.A. or B.S degree in a Business-related discipline or equivalent combination of experience and education. 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in a high transactional volume customer focused role with emphasis on order fulfillment and customer satisfaction Performance Measures and Job Duties Primary point of contact for tolling customers as it pertains daily operations (production schedule, inventory, deliveries, shipments, problem resolution, etc.) Accurate and timely order entry Allocation of product to orders and inventory Understand specific customer requirements Communicate effectively both externally and internally Prepare purchase orders Create accurate invoices In your absence they are to ensure that the tasks assigned to them are adequately covered by trained personnel. They are responsible to communicate and work with their manager to ensure their workload is covered when they are out. Provide backup coverage for other members within the Planning Department Lead (as primary or backup) tolling customer direction setting meetings Procurement of raw material Schedule and plan production Schedule pickup and delivery appointments Organize shipping paperwork for inbound and outbound orders ERP system (Business Central) key user to support Operations Customer-owned inventory management in customer's ERP system (SAP) Analyze or produce reports for business leaders and others Post transactions timely and consistent with (or in adherence to) KPI targets Lead SIOP or S&OP process in their respective areas or value streams Communicate PPE requirements to drivers; Support transportation Emergency Response (offsite), through appropriate coordination with internal and external resources; Share risk information/requirements with all carriers, related to the products they are transporting, potentially including but not limited to: SDSs; Bills of Lading; and Driver training/rules. Send updated SDSs to the EHS&S Department and update the company internet site.
