Tyson Foods Sr Analyst Finance in Chicago, Illinois
SUMMARY: Support the Prepared FP&A group with planning and reporting activities in multiple tools (SAP BPC, AFE, Tableau) for long-term, annual, and monthly financial estimates. Responsible for driving monthly + annual planning cycles, inclusive of providing direction to broader TEAM (BU, Supply Chain, et al) on planning assumptions and requirements. Comfortable with frequent cross-functional work with IT as we transition systems as part of IT integration/optimization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES: Support reporting and analysis activity(s) assigned by the Director to contribute to effective decision-making by the business. Perform P&L reporting - weekly, monthly, and quarterly. Execute ad hoc financial analyses in support of the business needs. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to support the business. Become subject matter expert for planning, reporting and analysis in SAP BPC, Business Unit's first contact for support.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration. Experience: 4+ years relevant experience in Corporate Finance/Accounting. Experience in operational FP&A strongly preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in SAP BPC and AFE (Analysis for Excel) is required. Advanced MS Excel proficiency is required. Knowledge of macros is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners and leaders.
Special Skills: Must possess strong prioritization and organizational skills, and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once. Willingness to be trained as an expert level user of SAP BPC and AFE (Analysis for Excel) is required.
