This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening that may include, but not limited to, assembly, processing, packing, stacking, stocking, inspection, or labeling. Other tasks include standing, walking, bending, twisting, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and reaching. Candidates must be willing and able to lift, push, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs. in many areas of production. Candidates must be able to work in cold (temps ranging from 35-45 degrees F) and or damp environments with slippery walking surfaces. Candidates must be willing and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
. Applicants who have worked for Tyson prior may be considered for rehire if they meet the location s rehire criteria. Applicants who were terminated from Tyson for the following reasons will not be considered gross misconduct job abandonment and, failure to report.
