Job Summary

Summary: Performs HVAC maintenance duties on single door and double door commercial style refrigerators as well as regular maintenance duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Installs, maintains and repairs equipment and systems using power and hand tools and other necessary equipment.

• Performs a variety of other semi-skilled and skilled work in various crafts such as welding, minor electrical work, and maintaining simple temperature controls.

• Cleans, lubricates, repairs and diagnoses malfunctions of HVAC equipment, ice makers, refrigeration equipment, electrical systems, electronic signaling systems and other specialty equipment items.

• Analyzes electrical and mechanical problems, alone or as part of a team.

• Responds to problems in the facility or in the field and makes repairs as needed.

• Contacts supervisors or skilled trade vendors as instructed.

• Maintains accurate logs of work performed.

• Completes work orders, tests and inspections.

• Performs established preventative maintenance; makes recommendations for improvement of preventive maintenance systems and activities.

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must have valid driver's license.

• Must have clean driving record.

• Must be able to effectively maneuver a 26ft box truck.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License

• EPA Universal Card
