Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor stock levels and anticipate supply needs to prevent shortages and overstock.

  2. Implement effective inventory control practices, including the use of first-in, first-out (FIFO) principles.

  3. Conduct regular audits and physical counts of inventory to maintain accuracy.

  4. Receive and inspect incoming shipments to ensure they match purchase orders and meet quality and safety standards.

  5. Identify and report any damaged, expired, or recalled items to the Supply Chain Manager.

6.Coordinate with hospital departments to fulfill supply requests and ensure the timely and accurate distribution of supplies.

  1. Ensure that requested supplies meet quality and safety standards.

  2. Accurately document all procurement and inventory-related activities.

  3. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of purchases, received shipments, and supply distribution.

  4. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of safety and sanitation.

  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FDA and hospital policies.

Job Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.

  2. 0 - 1 years of experience.

  3. Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications. Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access.
